Diyarbakır Büyükşehir Belediyesi, susuz arazileri suyla buluşturmak, bu yolla tarım ve hayvancılığa destek olmak amacıyla 9 ilçede 45 kilometrelik açık-kapalı modern sulama sistemi yaptı.
DİYARBAKIR GAZETE- Kırsal Hizmetler Daire Başkanlığı, tarım ve hayvancılığı geliştirmek amacıyla çalışmalarını aralıksız sürdürüyor. Başkanlığa bağlı ekipler, kent genelinde suyu verimli kullanmak ve susuz arazileri suyla buluşturmak için projeler üretiyor.
45 kilometre sulama kanalı yapıldı
Büyükşehir Belediyesi ekipleri, Çermik, Çüngüş, Dicle, Ergani, Hani, Hazro, Kocaköy, Kulp, Lice olmak üzere 9 ilçede 45 kilometrelik açık-kapalı modern sulama sistemi yaptı. Projeler kapsamında çalışmalarına aralıksız devam eden ekipler, kırsal bölgelerde 3 farklı proje ile toplam 106 kilometre sulama kanalı yapacak.
Ekolojik denge korunuyor
Çalışmalar esnasında doğanın korunmasına da önem veriliyor. Sulama sistemlerinin geçtiği hatlarda ekolojik dengenin korunması amaçlanıyor.
GAP Bölge Kalkınma İdaresi Başkanlığı ile imzaladığı protokol kapsamında yürütülen proje kapsamında ilçelere bağlı kırsal mahallelerde tarımsal sulamayı geliştirmek amacıyla kanal yapım işlerini sürdürecek olan Büyükşehir Belediyesi, bu sayede kırsal kalkınmaya destek olacak.
